Foundations of Cancer working party appointed
The VCCC is committed to supporting the continual professional development of the cancer care workforce across the alliance. Strong education and training programs are vital for the rapid introduction and uptake of evidence and best practice into care, and to provide a workforce skilled in the generation, interpretation and application of new knowledge.
The Masters of Cancer Sciences is a landmark collaborative initiative between the VCCC and the University of Melbourne. It will be the first cancer specific, multidisciplinary and wholly online Master’s program offered in Australia.
Production of the first subject - Foundations of Cancer - will begin in April 2018, guided by the newly appointed expert working party.
