Clinical Trial Internships

Expanding Victoria’s clinical trial activity calls for a highly trained workforce, capable of meeting increasing demand. The VCCC Development of Clinical Trials Workforce Capacity and Capability Program, has established internships, in partnership with the Parkville Cancer Clinical Trials Unit.

The clinical trial internships provide both theoretical and hands-on learning for two positions of high demand, increasing employability and providing opportunities within the sector.

Are you interested in pursuing a career in clinical trials? Would you like to build skills and experience in a clinical trial unit?

The SKILLED internship program provides a pathway for students to build role-specific clinical trial knowledge, experience and skills in a clinical trials unit. Interns will gain on-the-job training with VCCC alliance partners and collaborators in metro and regional locations.

  • Acceptance is dependent on university qualifications
  • Interns will be provided with a two-week induction prior to placement as well as access to a number of formal training opportunities
  • Interns will be paid award rates

Are you a student or supervisor interested in clinical trial internship opportunities?

Applications are now open for host sites for the 2021 program. In the meantime stay in touch and subscribe (select 'Internship' in the Interest area section)
